Building Regulations are in place to ensure that certain minimum standards are met whenever building work is carried out, including new buildings, extensions and certain work in existing buildings.  In England, the legal functional requirements are provided in Parts A to S, and these are supported by guidance in Approved Documents.

This short online training session explains the framework of the Building Regulations in England, introduces key guidance from the Approved Documents, and discusses how it can be implemented on projects.  Delegates will understand the basic principles and where to look for guidance.

The revised Parts L and F and new Parts O and S, which came into effect in June 2022, are included.  The Building Safety Act and consequent changes to Part B of the Building Regulations is also covered.
