Building Regulations: Understanding Part L and Part F

Overview

The UK has set in law a target to bring all its greenhouse gas emissions to net zero. As part of this journey the Government has committed to introducing the Future Homes Standard, with revisions to the Approved Documents for Part L and Part F which take effect in June 2022.

This course sets out an overview of Parts L and F and provides an understanding of the differences between the existing and previous Regulations and Approved Documents.

• Understand the Building Regulations and appreciate how Parts L and F apply to different types of building work.
• Explore recent and likely future changes.
• Find out about Energy Performance Certificates, Display Energy Certificates, Air Conditioning Inspections BREEAM Energy points relating to energy and ventilation, and ventilation criteria in the Well Building Standard.
