Frequency

Frequency calibrations are separated into three categories within the BSRIA Instrumentation laboratory.

• Electrical frequency calibrations normally measured in Hz over the range of 40 Hz to 400 kHz
• Optical frequency calibrations on instruments such as stroboscopes and tachometers over the range of 6 to 600,000 RPM
• Mechanical / contact frequency calibrations on rotating wheel type tachometers over the range of 6 to 6,000 RPM

Calibration options include traceable to national standards under the BSRIA Instrumentation ISO 9001 accreditation or UKAS accredited calibrations against the ISO 17025 standard.
