eLearning Overview.

Following the launch of our guide BG 91: Procuring Smart Building Technology, we’ve introduced this e-learning training module to bring its key insights to life. This interactive, self-paced course presents content in a clear, practical, and digestible format — a flexible alternative to reading the guide or a valuable companion to reinforce your understanding.

The module explores what it takes to unlock the full potential of smart buildings, from effective evaluation to successful implementation. If you’re involved in specifying, procuring or delivering smart building technology, this will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions.

You will learn:

• The key smart HVAC technology options available
• Defining your smart building needs and understanding what can be achieved
• Ensuring the right people, processes, and technology are in place to maximise ROI

Who should attend

Anybody responsible for evaluating, selecting, and implementing smart building technologies. 

Particularly useful for Facilities / Building Services managers tasked with delivering measurable energy/cost savings who are looking for a guide to quick wins, benchmarks and pitfalls to avoid.

Format

Delivered by John Taylor the author of the guide, the course consists of 10 short videos with slides.

After each is a very short confirmation of learning quiz whose completion unlocks the next video.

After the final one has been completed, you have access to all of the modules along with a comprehensive list of relevant guides and online documentation from both BSRIA and other bodies.

Duration

The full course takes between 1.75 & 2 hours but does not have to be done in a single sitting, it is broken down into 10 bite sized elements.
