Testo 417 | 100 mm vane anemometer

The Testo 417 anemometer features a fixed 100 mm vane to measure airflow, volume flow and temperature. This instrument an extremely versatile product especially when used in conjunction with the optional volume flow hood sets and flow straightener ( typically used for swirl type grilles and diffusers).

The 417 can also be used with the free to download Testo Smart App that turns your smart phone or tablet into a second display.  This easy to use software has menus for numerous applications, and you can create digital reports with photos that can be e-mailed.

This is ideal for testing ventilation systems to Part F of the UK Building Regulations. UKAS calibrations for air volume are also available from the BSRIA Instrument Solutions laboratory. The flow straightener is used when measuring air volumes from swirl type grilles. Here this product eliminates false readings which can be created as the direction of flow from the swirl grille can either increases or decreases the speed of the anemometer.
