Available from BSRIA Instrument Solutions is the Testo 417 vane anemometer with instrument case + funnel set (rectangular and round cones in cloth carry bag) and flow straightener. Hood ki1 1 version also available without the flow straightener.
The Testo 417 anemometer features a fixed 100 mm vane to measure airflow, volume flow and temperature. Flow direction is also indicated in the display which makes this instrument an extremely versatile product especially when used in conjunction with the volume flow hoods.
Hood kit 2 comes complete with hood sizes 200 mm diameter and 330 mm x 300 mm rectangular as well as a flow straightener ideal for wirl type grilles and diffusers,
The 417 can also be used with the free to download Testo Smart App that turns your smart phone or tablet into a second display. This easy to use software has menus for numerous applications, and you can create digital reports with photos that can be e-mailed.

The flow straightener is used when measuring air volumes from swirl type grilles. Here this product eliminates false readings which can be created as the direction of flow from the swirl grille can either increases or decreases the speed of the anemometer.
