The BSRIA Infonet is a valued member service that is accessed using your password and log on from the Members-only area of our website - https://infonet.bsria.co.uk/ (click on 'Construction Web' from left hand menu when logged on). The Abstracts database is part of the Infonet and contains in excess of 70,000 building services and construction items.
We have now added an additional database element - Construction Web. Using this enhancement members now have a dedicated tool for searching the web that is restricted to UK and overseas construction sites. It is ideal tool for searching for news and similar items from journals, government and construction organisations.
Construction Web differs from the Abstract service in that it provides current awareness, whereas the BSRIA Abstract search is for technical items. We hope that our members will find it a useful way of searching the web and avoiding all the unnecessary references that you might get under an ordinary Google type search.
