Nick Blake Principal FM Consultant

BSRIA is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Blake as its new Principal Consultant – Facilities Management in its Sustainable Construction Group, effective from Tuesday 19th June 2018.

The appointment of Nick shows BSRIA’s commitment to offering a strategic FM consultancy through the whole lifecycle of building property management and maintenance adding commercial awareness to best practice. Offering FM guidance from both client and contractor perspective.

Most recently, Nick headed up the engineering department managing all aspects of the buildings’ maintenance for three private hospitals including the site and ‘bank’ personnel. The role covered project management, contract negotiation and tendering. Nick has experience in electrical installation and commercial and residential maintenance.

Nick managed the onsite delivery of the £1.5m Endoscopy Department, carpark lighting LED upgrade and rewire, asbestos removal and electrical upgrade to save 45+k per annum.

He was a key participant to many governance groups – water, medical, gas, H&S/SHE – providing regulatory guidance in line with HTMs and other industries’ statutory guidance notes to ensure CQC compliance.
