TSI BlueSky | Air Quality Monitor

Air pollution - caused by air pollutants such as chemicals, smoke, dust or allergens - is an increasing concern in cities but can also be localised to a community, neighbourhood, or even a single building. Tiny airborne particulates (such as PM2.5) often emitted from vehicles are especially dangerous because they can penetrate deep into the lungs and cause a wide range of adverse health effects.  The TSI BlueSky air quality system is the ideal product for monitoring these and is able to transmit secure data 24/7 for remote viewing via the cloud.

TSI BlueSky hyperlocal urban air quality monitoring

Specifically designed for the outdoor environment mounted on poles and fence lines they can be powered if required using an optional solar system that comes with a back-up battery pack for night time use as well as a power source on overcast days.

Software

All TSI AirAssure products are sold as bundles which includes 1, 2 or a 3 year subscription to the TSI Link portal as well as the API data services functionality.  Subsequent years access is then purchased on a per unit per service basis - please contact the BSRIA Sales Team for these prices.

Premium TSI Link access gives users access to functions such as graph and data export functionality as well as alert notifications & sensor diagnostics.  See data sheet for additional details.

The API data services subscription gives users access to TSI's OpenAPI documentation, OpenAPI REST specification, authentication credentials via OAuth2 (client credential flow), as well as consultation with the TSI cloud development team to review the steps required to access data via our REST API.

In addition to the above all TSI Link users can easily integrate air quality data in Microsoft Excel using the TSI Link Data Analyser add-in; an analytical tool developed for quick aggregation and processing of measurement data. Users can select a variety of data points to generate custom reports or leverage the 4 pre-arranged reports:

1. Time Charts - a time-based table and chart of selected measurements that enables users to see historical trends. Includes a statistics table, report header and device statistics.

2. Floorplan – users can get a visual representation of the airflow within a building. By uploading a graphic of a building's floorplan, devices are tagged to map air quality, which can be used for energy efficiency and reporting.

3. Thermal Comfort - supports your employees by economizing on the temperature and efficiency of air flow in your building. A time-based temperature-humidity scatter plot with a Too Cool / Too Warm thermal comfort curve developed by ASHRAE.

4. Time & Device Comparison – Verify your building’s ventilation, air quality, and thermal comfort performance between devices in your building.   You can also easily compare two different time periods to quantify performance between different operating conditions or configurations.

Common customer questions & answers

QQuestion How long do the gas cells last on the TSI BlueSky devices?
AAnswer TSI recommend a 1 year replacement cycle for the PM (particulate) sensor as well as for the CO, NO2, 03 and SO2 gas cells. The CO2 is a 3-year cycle and the temperature, humidity & barometric pressure module is recommended every 5-years.
