The Testo 177T series are professional data loggers with either 4 input connections designed to take Type K, J or T thermocouples (177T4 model) or have an integral NTC temperature sensor (177T2 model - see separate website entry). Designed with a memory for up to 48000 readings the values can also be displayed on the units 2 channel LCD display without interrupting the measurement run.
Typical applications include the commissioning of buildings, the validation of processes in laboratories and the monitoring of ovens.

General logger hire information
All hire data loggers are set as a default to record at 5 minute intervals with a user start. If an alternative logging period is required, or a timed start, then we must be notified of this prior to the hire of the instruments.
For the hire of ≤10 units we do not charge for the time to download the instruments when they are returned to our Bracknell offices, or the supply of the data in Excel spread sheet format. For the hire of >10 units the costs for the data download is charged at an hourly rate. If downloaded data is required in a graphical format additional charges are also applied based on specific clinet requirements.
The 177 instruments have an adjustable logging interval via the software from 10 seconds to 24 hour increments. The unit has a 48000 maximum readings memory capacity and this for example equates to:-
48000 size memory (4 channels)
30 second logging interval = 4.2 days maximum capacity
1 minute logging interval = 8.3 days maximum capacity
5 minute logging interval = 41.7 days maximum capacity
10 minute logging interval = 83.3 days maximum capacity
NOTES: If channel are switched off the above periods can be extended i.e. with only one channel the figures can be multiplied by a factor of x4.
All probes and extension leads for use with the 177T4 product are charged for at an additional cost.
