Henry Lawson Market Research Consultant

BSRIA is delighted to be fielding an expert speaker at the Smart Buildings Conference taking place on Monday 5th February 2018 in Amsterdam. Henry Lawson, Senior Market Research Consultant in BSRIA’s World Market Intelligence division, will take to the stage. Henry specialises in smart building solutions and energy solutions.

Henry will be presenting ‘How Smart Homes are driving the Smart World’ where he will draw on recent BSRIA market studies of the smart homes markets in Europe, North America and China to show how fast these are growing, what is driving growth, how this varies between markets and how it will play out in the coming years and how it relates to the wider move towards smart buildings.

The Smart Building Conference (SBC) is the “must-attend” summit for professionals working in smart homes, smart offices, smart buildings and smart cities. Taking place on the day before Integrated Systems Europe 2018, SBC is a one-day event that explores the latest technologies, business strategies, market research and workflow case studies through presentations from the world’s leading smart building experts and thought leaders. SBC is organised by Integrated Systems Events – the organisation behind a range of key business-to-business events for the professional audiovisual, electronic systems integration and IT industries.

Henry said:

“The smart building is already upon us. My presentation will help you to answer such key questions as: how big is the smart homes market in terms of products and services? How fast is it growing in the main markets, and why? What are the main drivers of and barriers to this growth?

But the smart homes market is not just about numbers, it is also about different ways of approaching it. In this light I will also be looking at the way complete, integrated smart home solutions are competing with the more modular incremental approach of some of the big new players.”

I will also be exploring some of the ways in which innovations in the smart home market are having an impact on the wider smart world.”
