Structure

Formed in 1955, this is the 70th year of The Building Services Research and Intelligence Association (The Association). The Association is the parent company of BSRIA Limited, BSRIA Construction Consultancy (Beijing) Co. Limited, BSRIA Inc. and seven other dormant companies. Members are members of the Association. 

BSRIA Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Building Services Research and Intelligence Association, a science-driven, independent organisation limited by guarantee (download Corporate Governance chart).

BSRIA Limited is run through four operational groups (download Internal Structure chart):

• Applied Engineering (Managed by Peter Tse) providing a range of design support, facilities management, and research services, with specialists on low-carbon engineering and the use of water in buildings. The Test House, providing accredited testing, validation and performance verification of HVAC products and systems and Instruments providing hire, calibration and sales of test and measurement instruments.
• Building Performance Evaluation (Managed by  Chris Knights) providing airtightness, sound insulation and ventilation testing and consultancy for all building types.
• Membership and Information (Managed by Kim Burgess) including all membership services, bookshop and training.
• Market Intelligence (MI) (Managed by Lisa Wiltshire) BSRIA's global market intelligence group
