BSRIA world HVAC and BACS studies provide latest insight into Covid-19 impact in 2020 and beyond February 2021

BSRIA Worldwide Market Intelligence will soon publish its annual Global market size and trend studies into the key building services markets.

At the end of February, our World Building Automation Controls (BACS) study will be published providing the latest insight into the market and how the COVID pandemic impacted in 2020, along with expectations for the next five years.

WMI continue to monitor key global AC markets on a 6-monthly basis and will be publishing its Global Air Conditioning Market overview in March, covering residential, commercial and industrial market segments focusing on 2020 and a five-year forecast. Products are available in modular format depending on product interest. WMI have also just published in-depth insight into 4 key European AC markets, UK, France, Italy and Spain; in addition to a special European regional report covering 15 countries.

There is a lot of focus on the growth in hydronic heat pumps and our forthcoming World Heat Pump study published at the end of March looks at the uptake and trend in different heat pump segments, benchmarking against sales of air-to-air heat pumps. This market has continued to grow despite COVID, and the study reviews the drivers for change over the next five years.

Although there are long-term pressures on boilers from both hydronic and air-to-air heat pumps and hybrid systems, this is still a market which will be around for some time to come. BSRIA’s World study on Domestic and Commercial boilers will be published at the end of March and provide good insight into how COVID impacted the different segments and provide a five-year outlook.

Full press releases for each of the key product areas will be published in our March Newsletter.
