World Market for Structured Cabling 2022/R2021
by BSRIA (April 2022)
Most of the countries researched in 2021 recovered from the pandemic and were back at 2019 level at the end of 2021. The recovery was aided by price increases, which in many countries were very significant, while most countries were still below 2019 level measured in volume/copper cable meters sold. The recovery was typically more radical in countries that experienced the steepest decline in 2020. One exception is India, where recovery is expected in 2022.

World Market for Structured Cabling 2020/R2019
April 2020
The structured cabling market increased in 2019 after a very good year in 2018. The data centre segment performed better than LAN. The LAN segment increased modestly after an exceptional year in 2018. The share of fibre, primarily fibre connectivity, continues to increase. Hyperscale and colocation continue to grow and account for half the market with the other half being enterprise data centres. The enterprise data centres share of the DC market continues to decline
