This webinar will be presented by Myles Quigley, Product Manager at TSI where he provides market and application support for TSI solutions used in environmental monitoring as well as occupational exposure monitoring, in conjunction with Alan Gilbert, BSRIA Instrument Solutions General Manager, a market leading supplier of performance instruments for compliance and monitoring applications.

This webinar is aimed at people who would like to receive a basic understanding of aerosols including how they are detected and measured. Topics covered include their effects on human health and the environment along with Regulations and legislative requirements for monitoring. The session will conclude with a Q&A session along with an overview of particulate measuring equipment available from BSRIA Instrument Solutions.

Myles Quigley, Product Manager at TSI where he provides market and application support for TSI solutions used in environmental monitoring as well as occupational exposure monitoring.. Prior to joining TSI, Myles worked as a Global Product Manager in industries such as Building Automation and Renewable Energy where he excelled at both developing and managing multiple products and services for over 15 years. Since joining TSI Myles has developed expertise in understanding and interpreting the UK regulations and guidance that drive the requirement for both dust management and monitoring. He would like to share this knowledge so that you are better informed about the requirements and best practices for implementing a dust monitoring protocol.

Alan Gilbert is the General Manager at BSRIA Instrument Solutions and is responsible for the running the three part business that comprises of an instrument hire, instrument sales and UKAS accredited calibration centre which include calibrations facilities for parameters such as that for temperature, humidity and air velocity. Having worked with portable instrumentation for over 30 years including at a leading supplier of combustion analysers as well as a specialist filtration manufacturer within the nuclear industry, Alan has an exhaustive insight into vast array of measuring equipment available today along with the problems faced by users in the selection of the right tool for the task in-hand.
