The Rotronic AF1 is primarily designed for heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, but is also used in many other applications such as the monitoring of air velocities in industrial extract systems. The calormetric measurement transmitters are available as a wall-mounted housing version with separate sensor or as a duct mounted version. The measuring range and the output signal can be adjusted easily and without additional software using a simple DIP switch configuration within the instrument.
