The Energy Conservatory Mini-Fan blower door system is a complete air flow measurement system designed to test and document the air tightness of low leakage dwellings with airtightness levels such as that found in small dwellings, Passivhaus designed houses and apartments. The system is also suitable when measuring the airtightness of vehicle cabins, and hospital & healthcare isolation facilities (in line with BTS 3/2018).
Features
- The lightweight Mini-Fan weighs just 3.18 kg, but delivers enough air flow to test the leakiest systems.
- Quick and accurate airtightness measurements from 5 l/s (17 m3/h) to 708 l/s (2548 m3/h).
- Compatible with both pressurization and depressurization testing.
- Standard instrumentation includes the DG-1000 pressure and flow gauge. The gauge contains two precision pressure sensors which provide simultaneous display of both duct pressure and Mini-Fan fan flow readings.
- Solid state variable speed fan control.
- The kit comes in two cases - the door frame and the fan / accessory case.
Important notes
The Energy Conservatory series of blower doors are NOT SUITABLE for use with generators.
The BSRIA Instrument Solutions rental stock of air tightness testing equipment DOES NOT carry a UKAS accredited calibration and therefore should only be used for diagnostic purposes. An optional UKAS accredited calibration service is available at an additional charge and lead time.
Hire kits include 2 controllers and appropriate connectors; one for 240 V operation and the other for 110 V power supply.
