Overview

This edition was published in 2012 and was superseded by the 4th edition (BG 6/2014) in February 2014.

This edition supersedes BSRIA TN 21/97 and TN 22/97, and is superseded by BG 6/2009.

The guide provides a framework for allocating many of the design activities needed to complete a construction project, to the different members of a project team. Summarises some of the perceived shortcomings in past and current practice.

Appendices break design activity into key stages and are presented as pro-formas for allocating design among the members of the project team. These are supported by pro-formas for allocating drawing production.
