Overview

The Building Regulations are legal requirements that apply to most building work.  They are minimum requirements and are supported by a large body of guidance in the form of Approved Documents. Negotiating the legal requirements and guidance can be difficult, especially for the untrained.

This Building Regulations course delivers an overview of the subject and provides invaluable assistance to professionals involved in the building process, including those who already have experience with Building Regulations.

The course covers recent and forthcoming changes, including the revised Parts L and F and the new Parts O and S, which came into effect in June 2022.  The Building Safety Act and consequent changes to Part B of the Building Regulations is also covered.

"Really good level of knowledge and practical experience imparted by the lecturer" Ian Ellis, Siemens Building Technologies

"Very interesting and useful" Bill McDonagle, National Construction College

"So often training is given as a regurgitation of a set of slides or curriculum. This course was excellent because it was delivered as a journey and debate. Building regulations is not an exciting subject, but from the start David engaged and challenged us to understand and solve questions. Superb teaching style" - Apple Ivory, CDM Contract Services

"I have rarely if ever been on a course where I was actively engaged throughout and actually would have been happy to stay longer. Excellent course leader" - Simon Mitchell, CDM Contract Services
