Writes for construction industry professionals and clients and takes account of input from industry, educationalists and professional institutions.

Notes this training module can be used in a range of Continuing Professional Development training situations. Describes how IBD has developed over the past 25 years and brings the user up to date with the current status of IBD, the influence of environmental factors on the design process, the role of key players and feedback from different stakeholders. Goes on to explore how IBD can be promoted and managed to achieve best results. Uses a range of examples and exercises to simulate different solutions that may arise in typical design projects.
