BIM can be a mechanism for making high quality information about an asset available from inception, through design, construction and operation to disposal. It enables better decisions to be made during procurement, and provides an improved level of data to the FM team.

As knowledge and awareness of BIM grows, organisations are increasingly looking at how BIM can help them achieve their business objectives. Efficiency can be improved by keeping accurate information on the installed asset and informing key decisions around strategic development plans. The BIM implementation plan outlines the methodology necessary to incorporate BIM within a business.

This one day course will give the attendees a good understanding of the principles of BIM, and will then demonstrate how to develop a BIM implementation plan for their own business.
