Now available from BSRIA Instrument Solutions are the TSI BlueSky air pollution monitorsAugust 2020

Outdoor air pollution worldwide accounts for an estimated 3.4 million deaths per year due to stroke, heart disease, lung cancer and respiratory diseases such as asthma – that’s 6% of global deaths per annum. Tiny airborne particulates such as that generated by vehicle exhaust fumes (also known as PM2.5) are especially dangerous because they are respirable and can penetrate deep into the lungs.

Pollution can affect air quality across a factory site or city, but can also be localized to a community, or even a single street. The TSI BlueSky air quality monitors are small, lightweight easy to use instruments designed to provide insights on localized air quality both indoors and outside.

Each device is equipped with ability to transmit real-time data for PM2.5, PM10, temperature and relative humidity to the cloud for 24/7 remote access on an interactive map using Wi-Fi. With TSI BlueSky monitors, you can track hyperlocal air quality which could be very different from the regional air quality as reported by regulatory or governmental agencies.

Ideal applications for the BlueSky product include site perimeter monitoring, traffic pollution studies in smart cities, community monitoring programs, factory hot spot detection and indicative comparisons to governmental air quality data.
