New Introduction to Economic and Environmental AppraisalSeptember 2013

New Introduction to Economic and Environmental Appraisal course being held at BSRIA's office in Bracknell on 20th November. It provides an introduction to life cycle costing (LCC) and life cycle appraisal (LCA) and replaces our previous 2 day Life-Cycle Costing course.

It is increasingly important for clients, facility managers, designers and contractors to use life cycle thinking in order to make better decisions relating to new-build projects and refurbishments.

Although life cycle costing and life cycle assessment have traditionally been studied entirely separately, it is clear that both economic and environmental impacts are important for many decision-makers. It therefore makes sense to understand them together.

The course covers:

  • the key concepts of LCC and the process and business benefits of calculating life cycle costs
  • LCA which is about more than just carbon and the framework defined in the ISO standards will be explained
  • combining findings into a single set of results from which balanced decisions can be made

Delegates will receive a free copy of Whole Life Costing Analysis BG 5/2008.

Significant discounts are available for BSRIA members. Book now.

If you unable to attend the course on 20th November in Bracknell, this course is also available as in-company training.
