In response to the UK Government’s refinement of its BIM Level 2 requirements, BSRIA is hosting an event to explain how to comply, through a number of documents and tools available now and forthcoming.
The event will include presentations, demonstrations and a Q&A session from key BIM stakeholders, at its Bracknell offices on 21st April.
Rob Manning from the UK Government’s BIM Task Group, and the client’s project manager for the work will set the scene, explaining the background to the Level 2 BIM tools and how to comply.
Tina Pringle, Head of Technical Content and one of the senior managers on the project team of RIBA Enterprises, who were awarded the contract to develop a digital plan of work, classification structure and digital interface, will explain the project from their perspective and demonstrate the outputs.
BSRIA BIM experts will also discuss the key elements companies need to understand, not only for BIM practitioners but also anyone involved in Level 2 BIM projects including those who will need to implement BIM in operational buildings.
Speakers will also be on hand for a Q&A session, providing delegates with a unique opportunity to quiz some of the people closest to UK BIM development and its roll out.
