CEM wins environmental award for Green VisionSeptember 2007

County Estate Management (CEM) is among the major winners in the Green Apple Environmental Awards - an accredited feeder scheme into the European Awards for the Environment. The award is for recognition of environmental commitment and best practice for Green Vision, a unique environmental property audit jointly tool developed with BSRIA.

CEM will be presented with the Green Apple Award at the House of Commons later this year and will now have the opportunity to represent the UK in the Brussels event. Paul Rayden, CEO of the CEM Group of companies commented: "The Green Apple Award confirms that we have designed and implemented something special in our efforts to encourage green practices within the portfolio of properties under our management."

The Green Apple Awards are now in their fourteenth year and attracted more than 500 nominations this year. They are organised by The Green Organisation, an independent, non-political, non-activist and non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
