BSRIA is delighted to announce its BSRIA North office is “open for business!” effective from Monday 26th June 2017, in Preston, Lancashire. BSRIA North will service BSRIA members and wider industry based in the north of England and the opportunities created by the ‘northern powerhouse’. Following a “volcano of activity” getting the new offices ready – members and clients alike are welcome to call in.
BSRIA’s 2017 programme of training courses will now run for the first time from its Preston premises. Supported by BSRIA’s industry-renowned technical guides, these courses range from ‘introductions’ for non-engineers or those new to the industry through to specialist training for practitioners.
This follows on from the appointment of June Davis as its Business Manager in January 2016 and her team of a laboratory manager and technicians.
“I am excited that the BSRIA North office is officially open for business. This will certainly enhance our client base and reputation in the north of England, working with the existing teams within BSRIA. My continued focus is to develop new business opportunities, customers and prospects for BSRIA in the ‘northern powerhouse’.
And, of course, I have been supporting and enriching current BSRIA members based in the north of England. I would be keen to see any member or prospective member at our new offices.
Instrument Solutions has now expanded its equipment hire, calibration and sales operations into this northern base. We will offer accredited calibrations for measurement parameters such as pressure and temperature which complements the supply products from the rental fleet as well as from the sales portfolios. In support of BSRIA’s growth aspirations, and to meet customer demand, we have also increased the capacity of our Test House facilities with the transfer north of the weather louvre test rig.”
June has over 14 years’ experience of working within a construction related membership organisation – the National Federation of Builders. June has the natural ability to communicate and enjoys managing and delivering new projects and initiatives.
Bringing experience of working both collaboratively and independently, she thrives on building new as well as maintaining existing relationships with customers, stakeholders, external suppliers and staff.
Her remit is to establish BSRIA’s market position as the leading organisation for its diverse portfolio.
