This year’s annual Commissioning Specialists Association (CSA) Awards took place at the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel, Gatwick on 11th June 2015. The awards coincided with the CSA’s 25th anniversary celebrations and were well attended by commissioning industry experts and young engineers. The ceremony kicked off with a reception, followed by a delightful banquet, and then progressed to the eagerly anticipated awards ceremony.
As one of this year’s sponsors and judge of the awards, Alan Gilbert – General Manager of BSRIA Instrument Solutions had the pleasure of presenting the prestigious award for “Investment in Training” – an awards which is given to the individual, company or organisation that can demonstrate a consistent contribution to the delivery of professional training and development.
The award shortlist saw four very worthy finalists’, Ashford Environmental Services, End Systems, Banyard Consultants and Smoothflow Commissioning, all of which are members of BSRIA. However there could only be one winner and Brian Townsend – Managing Director of End Systems was triumphant, and crowned winner of the 2015 “Investment in Training Award”.
Alan Gilbert, BSRIA Instrument Solutions General Manager said – “The CSA 25th Anniversary awards ceremony was a truly wonderful evening in which BSRIA Instrument Solutions were delighted to be a part of. It was a privilege to sponsor and present the award for “Investment in Training” which went to a very deserving Brian Townsend. The ceremony gave a great opportunity to celebrate some of the commissioning industries best and brightest and also to meet with many of BSRIA’s members.”
