BSRIA’s head of Sustainable Construction Joanna Harris will be presenting at the RICS Strategic FM Conference: The future of facilities management at Holborn Bars, 138-142 Holborn, London, EC1N 2NQ on Tuesday 14th June.
Facilities Management plays a crucial role in delivering an organisations core business, but increasing complexities in new construction is providing challenges for property and facilities professionals.
The one day programme has been tailored to meet the new demands of the FM profession and will discuss client needs and requirements from the occupier, developer and CEO perspectives. These will be discussions centred on what FM has to offer in this changing sector and how that can impact the work of the Facilities Manager.
Joanna said “I am pleased to be speaking at such a prestige event, the role of facilities management is at the very centre of every business delivering an environment that can impact the productivity and health of the occupants. I’ll be discussing how collaboration during construction can improve the outcomes. The conference is an opportunity for all the stakeholders to come together to discuss what clients will be expecting in the future and helping facilities managers develop and deliver a solution to meet their expectations.”
