George Adams, current Non-executive BSRIA Board member, past President of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and Engineering Director at SPIE UK, has been formally appointed Chairman of the new CIC Green Construction Panel at the CIC Council meeting, with immediate effect. The term of office will run for three years.
Following the Council meeting George Adams said: “Sustainability is key to the social and economic wellbeing of people in the UK; incorporating rural, coastal and urban environments. Speaking of the appointment, Graham Watts, CIC Chief Executive said: “The Green Construction targets are a crucial part of the industrial strategy and George's leadership of a new CIC Green Construction Panel will be our conduit for contributing to this essential work.
