We offer a wide range of training courses, networks and events. If you can't physically come to one of our locations, you can still take advantage of our expertise by registering for one of our regular webinars, from wherever you are in the world.

Our training courses, delivered by BSRIA engineers and associates, have been developed over a number of years with many based on our published best practice guides. Our networks, events and webinars offer opportunities for learning and networking on the latest key issues impacting our industry.

    Training Courses

        • Airtightness Testing Level 1
        • A 4-day course will provide sufficient theory and practice to enable delegates to pass the examinations and begin the ATTMA registration process.
        • Airtightness Testing Level 2
        • The 3-day course will culminate in examinations and assessments, following which successful candidates will be eligible to apply to ATTMA for Level 2 registration.
        • BG6 Design Framework Workshop
        • The day will take the form of a facilitated workshop. Following an initial update of the new BG6 key concepts, most of the day will involve the examination of practical project scenarios from the viewpoints of designers, contractors and clients
        • Building Services Explained
        • A 1 day training course explaining the importance of various different building services and how to effectively manage them
        • Building Services Legislation
        • This training course presents the raft of legislation that affects the design, installation and operation of building services and explains how they apply to your project or building
        • Building Thermography Level II
        • BSRIA training course for Level I thermographers interested in more advanced infrared thermography of buildings. Run at IRed
        • Fire Safety Management
        • A training course designed to inform delegates how to manage fire safety issues effectively.
        • Introduction to BG6 Design Framework
        • The aim of the course is to enable Built Environment professionals to deliver more efficient and more cost effective projects through improved management of design activities, primarily those concerned with building services
        • Introduction to Commissioning
        • The course is based around BSRIA's guides Commissioning Air Systems and The Commissioning of Water Systems in Buildings which are commonly specified on construction projects
        • Introduction to Thermography
        • This course will enable those new to thermography understand how to use their camera and start to use thermography on buildings and services.
        • Introduction to Water Services
        • This course has been created to give delegates an overview of the types of systems encountered in a range of buildings including hospitals and industrial installations
        • Life Cycle Costing - Theory and Practice
        • A two-day course covering the basics of life cycle costings and advanced application of the technique in realistic situations. There is an option to just attend day 1.
        • Maintaining Building Services
        • This course will introduce best practice strategies, processes and techniques for the operation and maintenance of building services.
        • Practical Energy Management
        • This course provides delegates with an understanding of how to deliver an energy management programme, recognise the opportunities, the approaches and technologies available, and make the business case for success
        • Pre-Commission Cleaning of Pipework Systems
        • This course will cover the principles of pre-commission cleaning, as set out in BSRIA Guide Pre-Commission Cleaning of Pipework Systems and combine lectures, practical demonstrations and worked examples
        • Safety in Building Services Design
        • One day training course for designing for safety and health in the space planning of building services with respect to operation, maintenance and plant replacement
        • Soft Landings Level 1
        • Course focuses on a project delivery process that places greater emphasis on performance-in-use.
        • Understanding Level 2 BIM
        • This one day course will provide an overview of BIM and a good understanding of the Government's BIM strategy and 8 components of BIM Level 2.
        • WMSoc - Cleaning & Disinfection - W017
        • Water Management Society course, City & Guilds accredited 1 day training course that will give delegates an understanding of the need for cleaning and disinfection and to give practical experience in carrying out the work and managing it effectively.
