Socrates studied for a BSc in Earth Sciences at the University of Athens before moving to England where he studied for a Masters in Philosophy in Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia and then continued his studies at the University of Reading. He has been working in market research for 18 years. In 2002 he became a Full Member of the Market Research Society. Prior to joining BSRIA he was Head of Analytics for a UK based consultancy, mainly responsible for methodology development, research analysis and project management. For BSRIA he has worked extensively on heating, renewables and building controls projects covering major countries within Europe, the Middle East and North America.
